Kottaras signed a minor league contract with Atlanta on Saturday, Kevin McAlpin of BravesRadioNet reports.
It didn't take long for Kottaras to find a new job as he was picked up by Atlanta two days after being released by San Francisco. The 33-year-old catcher has not played in the majors in several years as he spent 2015 playing with Triple-A Charlotte and Triple-A Buffalo and all of 2016 with Triple-A Sacramento. He'll now head to yet another Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Braves, to continue his 2016 campaign.
