In 2013, Oregon joined the short roster of FBS teams to wear pink or pink-accented uniforms as part of the fight against breast cancer.
That debut went well enough that the Ducks will do the same for this Thursday night's date with Arizona, the program announced Tuesday.

From the school's statement, published by Oregon Live:
The special edition uniforms are designed to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, exemplifying the spirit of teamwork and generosity that enable the organization to battle against women's cancers ...
"The partnership between the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, Nike and the University of Oregon is very special. When good people come together for a great cause, something extraordinary happens" said Susan Donohoe, Kay Yow Cancer Fund Executive Director. "Through this partnership, we are able to raise awareness and funds in support of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's mission. We are so thankful for the opportunity to partner with Nike and the Oregon Ducks."
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund will also make a $100,000 research grant to Oregon Health & Science University Knight Cancer Institute in support of young women's breast cancer research project.
Special edition black and pink Nike Oregon fan jerseys, hats, and t-shirts are also available for purchase on Nike.com, and a portion of the proceeds from each sale benefits the Kay Yow Fund.
