It's good to be LeBron James for a lot of reasons, but the world was treated to a new one Monday night: his favorite college football team is now the reigning national champions.
James was in attendance for his Buckeyes' dominant win over Oregon and wasn't exactly inconspicuous either during the game or during the postgame celebrations. Here he is -- in his No. 23 Ohio State jersey -- celebrating a second-half touchdown (via Getty Images):

And here's a King James hug for victorious quarterback Cardale Jones, also via USATSI:
Maybe a hug's not as nice as a new pair of Beats headphones, but of course James already took care of that, too. And via James' Instagram, here he is rocking the official College Football Playoff National Champions hat on his plane ride back to rejoin the Cavs:

As of now, it's still the Ohio State basketball team rather than the football team that has the locker devoted to the state of Ohio's favorite athletic son ... but after all the love in Arlington, somehow it wouldn't be a surprise to see that change.
