LSU star running back Derrius Guice will suit up for Saturday's game against Syracuse after all, though his role is yet to be determined.

"[Guice] came to us today, said, 'Coach, I'm feeling better. I want to practice,'" Ed Orgeron told reporters on Thursday, per the Advocate. "He practiced pretty good today. He's going to get some snaps. He will play."

Orgeron said that Guice will play a "limited role" but still start at running back after suffering an undisclosed injury in the loss against Mississippi State. Guice missed the first three days of practice this week because of the injury, and on Wednesday night, Orgeron ruled him out for the game on his radio call-in show.

Guice did not finish last week's 37-7 loss to Mississippi State. Still, the junior has 300 yards and four touchdowns already on the season.
