There are less than 100 days left to go before the 2017 college football season starts, and that means you have less than 100 days to figure out which teams you want to bet on before the season.

You're so lucky to have friends like us at CBS Sports.

BetOnline has released conference title odds for the Power Five conferences, and we want to make sure you're prepared with all the knowledge you need to make the smart play.

Today we'll look at the odds for the 14 teams in the ACC.

Boston College +10,000
Clemson +400
Duke +5,000
Florida State +110
Georgia Tech +2,500
Louisville +500
Miami +650
NC State +2,000
North Carolina +2,500
Pittsburgh +2,500
Syracuse +10,000
Virginia +10,000
Virginia Tech +1,000
Wake Forest +10,000

Best bet: When it comes to figuring out who is going to win the ACC, recent history would suggest we're picking between two teams: Florida State or Clemson. Sure, you could make an argument for Louisville and a couple of teams from the Coastal, but the Noles and Tigers are the two most obvious choices.

As for which one is the best bet, I'm actually going to take Clemson over Florida State. It's not because I think Clemson will definitely win the ACC. Florida State is the favorite for a reason, after all. It's just that, at +110, it's not like Florida State is offering much bang for your buck. And no matter what team is favored, winning a conference is hard. So those odds just seem a bit too far in the house's favor.

At +400, Clemson gives you a bit more value. Maybe you think the number is too low because the Tigers have to replace Deshaun Watson, but even if that's true, this is still one of the most talented teams in the country we're talking about here. As Alabama has proven time and again, you don't need a transcendent quarterback to win. An awesome defense combined with a smart offense is sometimes enough, and Clemson definitely has the awesome defense.

Most interesting long shot: It makes more sense to look to the Coastal Division for our choice here, and when I see Virginia Tech at +1,000, I don't have to look very long. It just makes too much sense.

Miami at +650 is just too low considering the team's history in the ACC and the fact it must replace Brad Kaaya. Virginia Tech, on the other hand, is coming off a strong season. And even if it's replacing its own key players on offense --- including its QB --- everywhere Justin Fuente has gone he has had an offense capable of putting up points.

You have to consider the Hokies the favorite in the Coastal, which would put them in the ACC title game where anything can happen. I'll take Anything Can Happen at +1,000.
