Kentucky's Big Blue Madness was, as always, a sellout event. The Friday night festivities included John Calipari inviting nearly 100 former Kentucky players up on to the big stage.
The event, given Kentucky's stature and past events, was something of a bore -- but it was pretty cool to see so many former Wildcats come back. It very much had a family-reunion type of feel.
Then you had this video, which was a good touch.

Among the former players in attendance: DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall and Willie Cauley-Stein. Wall's Washington Wizards are playing Cousins/Cauley-Stein's Kings on Saturday night at Rupp Arena.
Kentucky is such a hotbed for hoops. The Saturday night exhibition will be among the most intense (from the fan side of things) of any NBA preseason game this season. Expect Cousins and Wall to have plenty of fun with Calipari in attendance.
Cousins has become perhaps the most beloved former Cat from the Calipari era.
