What to know about each team

Kentucky

A first-round victory vs. Northern Kentucky sets up a huge game against Wichita State in the second round after the Shockers survived a scare from Dayton. For Kentucky to win, it will need to tighten its defense up. Allowing Northern Kentucky to score 70 and hang around for as long as it did is a surefire way to get knocked off by the disciplined and defensive-minded Shockers.

Wichita State

A lot of people will jump on Wichita State after a solid win vs. Dayton in the first round. Against Kentucky the key for the Shockers will be keeping Landry Shamet out of foul trouble and having Shaq Morris body up on Bam Adebayo. Should be a great game.
