    Analysis

We know Memphis will be able to score and score frequently. I'm more interested in their defensive approach to this Tulane matchup and how consistently can they get off the field on third downs. The Green Wave haven't been able to stack excellent offensive performances, which ends up putting their defense in a bind.

    Analysis

This is a bad matchup for a Tulane defense that's struggling as the Green Wave welcome in a Memphis team that ranks in the top 10 in total offense (516.7 yards per game) and poses a dual-threat issue through the air with Marcus Stokes and on the ground with Jaylin Carter. The Tulane defense ranks 119th nationally in total defense and it's supported by an offense that's averaging less than 19 points per game. This may be a tough road spot on a Friday night, but Memphis is on another level and should be able to ride that offense to a comfortable win.

    Analysis

This irks me. An ideal spot for +1. But +1.5 is absurdly priced. So I'll take a half on the ML. If I had more than $500 hidden in a toaster from my wife (if she ever eats toast, fire), I'd start a sportsbook on the side and just take any wager. Nevermind, that's like a loanshark that never ends well in movies. Believe Rocky started that way. Think catch a break here in that it lines up as Boston backup Michael DiPietro's turn. Logic says the B's give No. 1 overworked Jeremy Swayman this one off and play him Saturday in LA. But I'm fine either way -- I'll lean a half now but if it's DiPietro, I will raise.

    Analysis

I grabbed Ohio State -3 on Monday, but with that number gone, I'm comfortable taking the moneyline at anything under -185. Yes, Indiana is 6-0, but there are some concerns. The Hoosiers are allowing a 63% completion rate and rank 127th nationally in explosive plays allowed. That could be free eats for Jeremiah Smith, who is playing like the best player on the planet. Analysis

Ever since John Sumrall has been getting positive accolades as head coach at Florida, riding a 4-0 record, the Gators have been bust-outs. They didn't just lose at Missouri 47-17, and at home the next week to an awful South Carolina squad 38-19, but they lost every bit of confidence and credibility they had built up. Now they have to play at Texas, who's only covered one game this year. They're playing well below their rating and they just lost their No. 1 ranking when they lost to Oklahoma 27-24. It's the fourth straight non-cover by Texas. Arch Manning had two big interceptions last week against the Sooners. I think Florida has been exposed as fraudulent, and Texas takes advantage.
