Lindblom was placed on waivers by San Jose on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Lindblom had six goals and 15 points in 73 contests with San Jose last season. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, then Lindblom will likely report to the AHL's Barracuda.
